GNI, Paseda Commiserate With Kashamu Over Mother's Death

Senator Kashamu
ABEOKUTA - Foremost investment expert and experienced politician, Prince Gboyega Nasir Isiaka has commiserated with the immediate past Senator representing Ogun east senatorial district at the National Assembly, Senator Prince Buruji Kashamu, over the demise of his mother.

The nonagenerian Alhaja Wulemotu Kashamu passed away on Wednesday in a Lagos hospital at the  age of 92 after a brief sickness.

In a signed condolence statement obtained from his media office, the former GMD of Gateway Holdings Limited and gubernatorial candidate of African Democratic Congress in the last general election, decribed the death of late Wulemotu Kashamu as the "unwanted end of a sonorous orchestra".

He said, "I use this medium to condole with Senator Buruji Kashamu on the demise of his beloved mother. The death of a mother at any age is a big loss for any individual. For the huge pillar of support mothers represent, one can only imagine the grief of our brother at this time".

"Mama Wulemotu particularly was an exemplary mother, quintessential religious leader who contributed immensely to the growth of Islam in Ijebu Igbo and beyond. She was also very enterprising, philanprophic and a rallying point in her community".

According to him, "She lived a long life and leaving a worthy son like the distinguished Senator behind, is a testimony of the great legacy she left. Indeed her presence was inspiring as her life was a sweet melody which we wished played much longer".

GNI as fondly called, prayed Almighty Allah to grant the repose of her soul, continue to keep all that she left behind, grant the family and indeed the entire Ijebu-Igbo land the courage to bear the loss.

In the same vein, the chairman of Paseda Legacy Foundation, Otunba Rotimi Paseda has described the death of the late matriarch of Kashamu family as painful, but irreversible.

Paseda who spoke from base in Mexico urged Senator Kashamu to remain unwavered in the Islamic belief that God giveth and taketh as He pleases.

Otunba Paseda who took to his Instagram page: @pasedalegacy early Thursday morning prayed God to grant the family the fortitude to bear the loss, and urged Allah to grant the late mother Aljanah Firdous.

The matriarch of the kashamu family will be buried according to muslim rites at Ijebu-Igbo on Thursday.
