The council in a statement signed by its Caretaker Chairman, Kayode Taiwo said the union received the news of his death with deep sense of loss, and heavy hearts.

The Chairman noted that, the demise of the former Secretary of the Correspondents' Chapel was a loss to many particularly at a time the Union needs candid advice and support of its avalanche of veterans.

"The demise of the former Secretary of the Correspondents Chapel, and S A on Media to the former Deputy Governor, Prince Segun Adesegun, was a loss too many particularly at a time the Union needs candid advise and support of it's avalanche of veterans.
