Governor Abiodun Mourns Late Council Chairman Nominee, Adeosun

ABEOKUTA - Governor Dapo Abiodun of Ogun State has expressed sadness over the demise of Hon. Saibu Adeosun Mulero who was recently nominated as Chairman, Transition in Ipokia local government of the state. 

Governor assured that, his administration would take consolation in achieving the desired promises and agenda which the late Adeosun would be proud of. 

"It is sad that we lost Hon. Saibu Adeosun Mulero, whom we recently nominated as Chairman for the Transition Committee in Ipokia LGA. It is more so, because he left us, just hours to his confirmation screening by the State House of Assembly.

"May his soul have eternal rest in Aljanah Firdaus, as the Almighty consoles his family for this great loss.

"I have personally gained consolation in the resolve of our administration, which he would have been a confirmed part of, to follow through on our promises and agenda. Hon. Mulero would be proud where he is."

Meanwhile, the Ogun State House of Assembly has postponed the screening of the chairmanship nominee from Ipokia over the demise of Hon. Saibu Adeosun Mulero. 

The death of the Chairmanship nominee from Ipokia Local Government made the Assembly postponed the screening of the Caretaker Committee members for the Local Government till further notice. 

Chairmen nominees and transition committees members from Ogun Waterside, Ijebu Ode, Odogbolu, Ijebu North East, Ikenne, Ijebu North, Sagamu, Remo North and Ijebu East were screened by the lawmakers.

Other chairmen and members screened by the State Lawmakers are those from Yewa South, Yewa North, Imeko Afon and Ado-Odo/Ota.
