Ogun Youths Ministry, Peace Corps Synergize On Better Working Relationship

Peace Corps Commandant, Olufemi with SA on Youths Matters, Lamide Lawal 
ABEOKUTA - The Special Assistant to the Ogun State Governor on youth matters, Mr. Lamide Lawal has assured Peace Corps of Nigeria of a better working relationship with the Youths Ministry in the state. 

Lawal disclosed this on Monday when he a courtesy visit to the Ogun State Command of Peace Corps of Nigeria.

He confirmed that the efforts of Peace Corps of Nigeria in youth reorientating, peace building, volunteerism and other social services deserve commendation.

He noted that, the Corps is strategic partner in achieving the philosophy of the present administration in the state which is about 'building our future together'

The Special Assistant assured the Commandant that he would further facilitate better working relationship with the ministry of youth and sports in the state.

Earlier, the Commandant, Patriot Olufemi Akinyemi noted that Peace Corps officers in the state have been living up to expectations and required supports from stakeholders in the state.

The Commandant equally called for a better working relationship with the Special Assistant and other stakeholders in the ministry of youth and Sports and the Ogun State government.
