Fedpoly Ilaro Takes Palliative To Ogun Rural Communities

ABEOKUTA - The management of Federal Polythenic, Ilaro on Wednesday stormed rural communities in Yewa South local government of Ogun state with palliative materials.

The management commenced the distribution of the relief materials to the less privileged and the vulnerable people within the host communities.

The programme which kicked off at Gbokoto village moved to Sarumi, Orile-Itolu and Pahayi villages respectively.

The relief materials distributed include rice, beans, garri, tomato sachets, sachets of groundnut oil, salt, sanitizers and washable face masks.

The Rector of the Polytechnic, Arc. Olusegun Aluko enjoined members of the distribution committee to ensure that the relief packages are distributed to those who actually need it.

Dr. Aluko maintained that, the relief materials was parts of the Polytechnic's Corporate Social Responsibility to the host communities.

Similarly, the team visited Sayedero market where hand sanitizers, face masks were distributed to the market women.
