Ogun APC Chairman Pledges Support For Abiodun's Support Group, Dapo Abiodun Likeminds

ABEOKUTA - The Chairman, All Progressives Congress (APC) in Abeokuta North local government area of Ogun state, Alhaji Sobayo Adesina Akeem has reiterated his support for the support group of Governor Dapo Abiodun nicknamed Dapo Abiodun Likeminds. 


Dapo Abiodun Likeminds is a political mobilizer group established by the Special Adviser to the Governor on Special Duties, Adewale Nurudeen Aka. 


The party chairman while receiving the Abeokuta North local government Coordinator of Dapo Abiodun Likeminds, Mr. Ogunpola Akinyele in his office on Tuesday maintained that he would continue to support any initiative aimed at promoting good governance of the state governor. 


Alhaji Sobayo therefore promised to mobilize all APC members in the local government to join the group.


"I'm happy today because I've been hearing alot about this group and I've been looking forward to work with this group.

"Let me state unequivocally that, whatever that will promote our governor and his good work, I'm ready to support it. Therefore, Dapo Abiodun Likeminds is a goal. I will support you and implore our members in the local government to also join the train."


Speaking earlier, Mr. Ogunpola expressed gratitude to the party chairman for his leadership quality in piloting the affairs of the party in the local government. 


He said, his desire to lead the group in the local government was due to the diligence of the state governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun in developing the rural areas. 


Ogunpola however expressed optimism that, the second term ticket of the Governor would be secured with his human face projects spread across the 20 local government areas of the state.
