The presidential candidate of National Rescue Movement (NRM) Mazi Okwudili Nwa-Anyajike has said his All Progressives Congress (APC) counterpart Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu will win tomorrow’s poll with a landslide.
He spoke in Owerri while declaring support for Tinubu with over 7 million members of the party.
Tinubu, he said, is a pragmatic leader who has the capacity to win the election convincingly.
“Apart from declaring our support officially for Tinubu, we are in alliance with, the party, All Progressives Congress.
“Tinubu will the election because he believes in the unity of Nigeria. I strongly believe he will win landslide.,” he said.
He said the party members and supporters decided to pitch tenet with Tinubu because he stands out among the other candidates.
“Yes Tinubu, Atiku and Peter Obi have been contributors in Nigeria’s development, Tinubu towers above all. Asiwaju has been an important factor in the building of Nigeria. And we know what Lagos used to be 30, 40 years ago but in 1999 he came in as Lagos State Governor he changed the tide and right now the development and upgrading of Lagos State today is not in doubt and that the handwork of one man, a pacesetter.”
According to to him, Nigeria’s problem needs more than a pragmatic young leader.”Nigeria needs experienced pragmatic politician like Tinubu that can take us out of slump and put us at height where we can live and enjoy the country.
“So, we are joining APC not because of material interest but for interest of all Nigerians.”
He urged about seven millions of its members across the country to come out enmasse and vote for Asiwaju on Saturday.
