Ogunpola made this call on Thursday at the official inauguration of Dapo Abiodun Likeminds, Abeokuta North local government chapter.

"Permit me to call on the State Governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun to prevail on the Inspector General of Police and Commissioner of Police in the state to direct police officers back to the streets to ensure the safety of lives and property. "As members of DA Likeminds, we are ambassadors of the Governor, and it is our duty to work as grassroots mobilizers for the Governor and give feedback to our State Coordinator on the needs of the people at the grassroots for better governance.

"Let us work together collectively for the development of our state and be inclusive in all our operations in the party and groups from the ward to the state level.

"These are also the watch words of the Governor which are aimed at achieving a successful economical, infrastructural, educational and political development of Ogun state and also the security of lives and properties of Ogun citizens at large."
