End Insight As Abiodun Set Up Three-Man Elders Committee To Reconcile Abeokuta South APC Exco

ABEOKUTA - There seems to be an end insight to the lingering crisis rocking the Abeokuta South local government Chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC), as the State Governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun on Tuesday set up a steering committee of Elders Forum to look into challenges confronting the party and reconcile various aggrieved members and factions.

The three-man committee comprising of  Chief Dr. Majekodunmi, Rt. Hon. Titi Oseni Gomez and Chief Sowunmi were announced by the Governor in a meeting with political leaders from Ogun Central Senatorial District, at Oba's Complex, Oke-mosan Abeokuta.

Governor Abiodun charged them to be transparent and diplomatic in resolving the lingering crisis in the local government.

He implored them to ensure that, authentic members of the party form the party executive in the local government.

It would be recalled that some Bloggers had last week published a fake News on the said issue.

A member of the committee who craved for anonymity denied that, no executives or cabinets were formed in APC for the local government as previously announced by some bloggers.

He said the new committee has been saddled with the sole responsibility.

He added that, any other list should be debunked as a facade and would not be recognized.

He warned bloggers to desist from publishing fake news in the interest of peace and development in the local government.

He warned pepertrators of fake news to desist as such publication is inimical to the progress and unity of the party.

He noted that journalism is a noble profession that has contributed to the education, entertainment and information of the pubic but regretted that recently, enemies of progress have infiltrated the profession, he concluded
