Ogun Council Chairman Begins Palliative Works On Abeokuta South Roads

ABEOKUTA - The Abeokuta South local  Government, under the leadership of Hon. Ayodeji Micheal Shomide has mobilised resources to carry out palliative works on Oke Ejigbo - Isabo, Ijaye, Iporo Ake among others.

The road leading to the Oke Ejigbo road has been in a State of disrepair giving the residents and travellers a hectic time.

The transition Chairman,  disclosed this while inspection Oke Ejigbo - Isabo road  

The LG Boss acknowledged the hardship faced by the people as a result of the poor condition of the road, which serves as an entry point for individuals and businesses.

He assured the people of the local government of his administration’s commitment to immediately bringing a temporary solution to the road.

Our correspondent spoke with motorists along Oke Ejigbo - Isabo road.

“We have sighted trucks offloading and spreading materials meant to put the road in a usable condition, We commend our chairman, Hon. Shomide for helping us out”, Mr. Adeyemo Oluwasegun, a resident said.

The transition Chairman, reiterated the local government commitment to the development of road infrastructure across the local government, towards bringing the dividends of good governance to the people of Abeokuta South local government
