Onipokia Stool: Let's Have Hope In Judiciary, Prince Oyewole Calls For Calm Over Kingship Tussle


ABEOKUTA - Prince Akeem Oyewole Oyelegbin of Oteni Bori Ote Mole Family, Iwaye Dodo Ruling House in Ipokia, has called on sons and daughters of the ancient town to remain calm and allow peace to reign.


Prince Oyewole said this while addressing crowd that paid a solidarity to him, whereby he expressed his faith in the judiciary as the last hope of common man, and that truth will prevail at last.


The prince who was eulogised by various speakers at the event, was urged to continue to be good to every one as he used to do, adding that all the ancestors were behind him on the way to regain the stolen heritage.


Similarly, being in joyous mood, they also pledged to support him even financially towards the legal representations at the court in order to regain what belongs to them.


It could be recalled that the Iwaye Dodo ruling house has filed a court case against the wrongful selection of the Oba by the king makers who had gone ahead with the installation contrary to the court ruling.


In a another development, Prince Oyelegbin also called on Ipokia sons and daughters to support him in moving the ancient town forward.


He made this appeal while receiving some foreign investors that came to establish iron roofing manufacturing company in the town.


Prior to that, leader of the team, Mr. Ferdinand Paqao disclosed that they were in town to solicit for support of everyone for the smooth take-off of the project, stressing that when completed, many of the indigenes would be given employment.
