Why I Didn't Blow As A Musician, Omo Nla Reveals

ABEOKUTA - An Abeokuta based Juju musician, Segun Sowunmi has revealed why he remained unpopular in the music industry because he refused to be diabolical.

Sowunmi popularly known as Omo Nla who is the Team Lead of Omo Nla and His Peace Band International disclosed this while ministering last week Thursday at the monthly vigil of God With Us Prayer Ministry, Ogun Radio, Abeokuta, Ogun State.

Omo Nla noted that, with his experience and exposure in the music industry and someone who has played in about eight countries people felt he should have made it extraordinarily add a musician.

He explained that, he deliberately decided to wait for God's time for his glory to blossom.

He added that, he refrained from diabolical means to  gain fame as the practice in the music industry to seek the kingdom of God.

"People felt with my experience in music industry and having travelled to Eight countries, I should have made it extraordinarily as a musician but I made it clear yesterday that I just decided to be Sin Free and heaven is Paramount to me.

"Don't misquote me, not every gospel musicians this time around. You know I play outside and I have a band. My band name is OMO NLA and his peace band International and have played in USA, UK, Cayman Island, South Africa, Turkey, Ghana, Togo, Benin Republic and Abuja. I am referring to music industry generally not gospel Musicians alone."
